About
NEP SAARTHI is a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, designed to
involve students in implementing the transformative reforms proposed under the National Education
Policy (NEP) 2020. SAARTHI stands for Student Ambassador for Academic Reforms in Transforming
Higher Education in India, highlighting the role of students as key drivers of change in higher education.
This initiative promotes leadership, active participation, and student-led advocacy in realizing the NEP’s
vision of holistic, multidisciplinary, and flexible learning.
