The College undertakes various awareness and preventive activities in support of NAPDDR, including:
Awareness lectures, seminars, and interactive sessions on drug and substance abuse.
Anti-drug campaigns and awareness drives within and around the campus.
Poster-making, slogan-writing, painting, and creative-expression competitions carrying anti-drug messages.
Pledge-taking and awareness activities promoting commitment to a drug-free life.
Counselling and guidance sessions focusing on prevention, early intervention, and healthy coping strategies.
Peer-awareness and Buddy Programme activities to strengthen positive peer influence.
Rallies, marches, and community outreach activities promoting the message of a drug-free society.
Workshops on life skills, stress management, decision-making, and resisting peer pressure.
Awareness through social media and digital platforms to reach a wider audience.
Encouraging students to become responsible ambassadors for drug-free living.
Through these initiatives, SSD Girls College contributes towards the objectives of NAPDDR by promoting
prevention, awareness, early intervention, peer support, and responsible choices, thereby fostering a
healthy, safe, supportive, and drug-free campus and society.
